On Vacation
Change of pace for my daily newsletters this week as we’re on vacation with Jess’ family! Three quick food highlights for today:
Los Amigos: Just wanted to give this local shop a shoutout! A small hole in the wall with friendly service and a great menu. They have taco Tuesdays, but we got a breakfast burrito to share as we began our trip.
888 Sushi and Robata: Long wait but worth it. A huge menu with quick service. All You Can Eat has unlimited rounds and the portions are perfect for individual orders. Includes soft serve (the vanilla and matcha were really good) and extra ice cream for with an easy Yelp check in (get the Thai tea flavor!)
Brew Tea Bar: My sister in law saw this place and I was pleasantly surprised! Got the Hong Kong Milk Tea and it tasted just like it should. The boba was sweet and the price of a large is great for the size of the drink. I would come back again for this same drink, but want to also give their Matcha Slush a try.
