How I Learned About the Bible
And how you can come to know it, too.

“How do you know about the Bible?”
This was a question one of the kids asked me after Awana. It caught me off guard because I thought he was asking how he could know about the Bible. But he was actually asking how I knew—or learned—about the Bible. I was surprised, humbled, and thankful for the question.
Thinking about it now, I realized the answer is the same either way:
I read the Bible. The best way to know or learn about the Bible is to read it.
I go to church. I learn from my pastors, from my Sunday School teachers, and even from my friends at church about what the Bible says.
I read books. I’m thankful that my parents bought me books about the Bible when I was younger, and that reading habit has helped me continue learning about the Bible as I’ve gotten older.
