Our God is a Giver
Unto Us a Son is Given
I find it particularly difficult to be a giver. Maybe it’s because of my cultural upbringing. Maybe it’s because I’m a father of young children. Or maybe it’s just because of who I am as a person. I am stingy. I am a miser. I am a Scrooge.
This Christmas, I am humbled and deeply grateful that my Heavenly Father is not like me. He is a gracious giver—abundant and overflowing. He is the greatest Giver of all.

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given…” (Isaiah 9:6)
