Tethered to Reality
We’re coming back from vacation! Please pray for travel safety and adjusting back to life.
We like to watch movies that are connected to the places we travel to. For San Francisco, we thought of Big Hero 6. So we’ve been spreading it out over the trip, watching a little each night. We hope to finish it on Sunday night when we’re back home.
There’s something about real, physical locations that tethers us to reality. It’s the world that God made. In the same way, the Bible is rooted in real places—places that can be found on a map and even traveled to.
I pray that I can live in a way that shows my kids that the physical world points to the spiritual, that Heaven is real, and that what we see on earth is simply a shadow of the world to come.
